Why Kamala Harris is the Stronger Leader Over Donald Trump

Together we stand, divided we fall.

Kamala Harris has proven herself as an experienced and tough leader throughout her career, serving as Attorney General of California, U.S. Senator, and now Vice President. In contrast, Donald Trump’s record, behavior, and recent legal troubles show why he is unfit to be president again.

Here’s why:

  • Trump’s Criminal and Civil Liabilities: Recently, Trump was found liable for fraud in a New York civil case for inflating the value of his assets to secure loans and insurance benefits. This verdict is not just a legal issue but reflects his dishonest business practices. He also faces multiple criminal charges, including attempting to overturn the 2020 election and mishandling classified documents. A president should act with integrity, and Trump’s actions disqualify him.
  • Behavior and Character: Trump’s actions following the 2020 election, especially disrupting the peaceful transfer of power, are unprecedented and dangerous. His disregard for truth and his refusal to respect the rule of law show a pattern of behavior unfit for a leader.
  • Economic Leadership: Trump inherited a strong economy and barely made a dent in lowering inflation. During COVID-19, his borrowing of $3 trillion to support the economy was necessary, but his mishandling of the pandemic’s science made matters worse.Biden, facing similar challenges, not only borrowed to prop up the economy but also made smart investments in rebuilding American industries. Despite Trump’s predictions of an economic crash under Biden, the U.S. experienced one of the fastest recoveries post-pandemic, adding 14.8 million jobs under Biden’s administration, and surpassing pre-pandemic job levels by 5.4 million jobs. This recovery has averaged over 400,000 jobs per month, outpacing job growth under previous administrations​FactCheck.org​.
  • National Security Concerns: Trump’s mishandling of classified documents, refusing to cooperate with national security protocols, and hoarding sensitive materials at Mar-a-Lago pose significant threats. His behavior undermines national security and shows a reckless disregard for the safety of the country.
  • Divide and Conquer Tactics: For years, Trump has used a strategy of division. He blames immigrants, China, Ukraine, and others for America’s problems, fostering an “us vs. them” mentality. But scapegoating others only deepens divisions and weakens the country.

Don’t Be Fooled: While some may blame rising grocery prices or gas costs on the current administration, sacrificing democracy and our values for short-term economic frustrations is dangerous. Trump’s economic policies, as many economists have pointed out, could lead to far more damage, potentially bankrupting the country.

Most importantly, Trump is the biggest threat to democracy we’ve ever faced. He has shown that he is willing to break the rules, and now he claims total immunity from the law. Threatening the media, hoarding national secrets, and dividing the country isn’t leadership—it’s tearing America apart.

Together, we stand. Divided, we fall. Kamala Harris stands for unity and a brighter future for all Americans.
