Brian Bateman, dedicated to separating truth from lies in the news

Brian Bateman

Author, Social Critic, Public Intellectual, and Educator

I’m just a guy from Wisconsin who is passionate about uncovering the truth and helping others distinguish fact from fiction. My name is Brian Bateman, and I dislike liars, cheats, thieves, manipulators, rule breakers, law breakers, demonstrators, polluters, coalitions, PACs, wars, and taxes.

I believe in honesty, integrity, and accountability. My background as a computer scientist and my daily immersion in analytics guide my approach to dissecting political claims and societal issues. I am deeply invested in ensuring that people have access to verifiable facts, free from the influence of hidden agendas and misinformation.

My dislikes stem from a strong sense of justice and a desire for a fair and transparent society. I am critical of anyone who undermines the rule of law or exploits others for personal gain. I oppose pollution and environmental degradation, advocating for policies that protect our planet for future generations. I am wary of coalitions and Political Action Committees (PACs) that prioritize special interests over the common good. Wars and conflicts, with their devastating human and economic costs, are issues I vehemently oppose. Additionally, I believe in fair taxation and advocate for a tax system that supports the working class while holding billionaires and corporations accountable.

Through my work, I aim to provide readers with the tools to identify red flags of deceit and manipulation. By comparing what politicians and public figures say with their actual actions, I strive to highlight inconsistencies and promote transparency. My goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge to make informed decisions and foster a more truthful and just society.
